How does CoolSculpting work?

The CoolSculpting® procedure takes between one and four hours in the office, depending on the area of the body being targeted. After treatment most patients experience a noticeable, natural looking reduction of fat in the treated areas. Often, our patients decide to undergo more than one treatment, for total body transformation. At DermaBlue, we will work with you to determine a care plan based on your individual needs, goals, and budget.

How many CoolSculpting treatments will I need to see results?

The number of CoolSculpting treatments needed varies from patient to patient. A consultation is needed in order to determine appropriate estimate.

Is there any downtime with Coolsculpting?

There is usually no downtime associated with CoolSculpting. The procedure is non-invasive and doesn’t require any incisions or needles. Patients can typically return to their normal activities immediately after treatment. Some may experience mild redness, swelling, or bruising, but these symptoms usually resolve on their own within a few days.

What is the CoolSculpting treatment process like?

You will come to DermaBlue for a complimentary total body assessment with our certified CoolSculpting® consultant, who has trained at CoolSculpting® University to determine the optimal treatment plan.

Once we determine your treatment plan, we will schedule your treatment. On your treatment day, you can sit back and relax while the CoolSculpting® device is positioned on your body to apply targeted cooling to unwanted fat cells. To start, a pinch-able bulge of fat will be packed into a contouring applicator developed for your specific area of concern, where the fat cells are frozen. Initially, you will feel some pressure and intense cold, but these sensations dissipate. You may feel pulling, tugging, pinching, or numbness during the procedure from the temperature, but the procedure is not painful.

There will be no damage to your skin, as only the fat cells are targeted, using Cryolipolysis®. When the treated area is released from the suction device (which is a little like a handheld vacuum attachment) you will have a small block of frozen tissue, which we will then massage until it returns to a normal shape and distribution.

The treatment is very comfortable and can sit back and relax, while the CoolSculpting® device is used by our certified technician.

How much does CoolSCulpting cost?

The price varies from patient to patient, depending on the area treated and how many treatments are needed. We offer free consultations to provide an accurate quote. We also offer affordable payment plans and financing for CoolSculpting.
