1. Consultation

• Meet with a trained technician to discuss your goals and assess your skin and hair type.
• The technician will customize a treatment plan tailored to your needs.

2. Preparation

• You’ll be asked to shave the treatment area 24–48 hours before your appointment.
• Avoid sun exposure, tanning, and certain skincare products (like retinoids) in the weeks leading up to treatment.

3. During the Treatment

• Your DermaBlue laser technician will clean the area and may apply a cooling gel for comfort.
• You’ll wear protective eyewear, and the laser device will be adjusted to suit your skin and hair type.
• Pulses of laser energy target the hair follicles, disrupting their ability to grow.
• You may feel mild tingling or warmth, often compared to a rubber band snap.

4. Post-Treatment Care

• Some redness or sensitivity is normal and usually subsides within a few hours.
• Apply soothing creams or aloe vera if needed.
• Avoid direct sun exposure, hot showers, or vigorous exercise for 24–48 hours.
• Follow up with sunscreen on treated areas exposed to the sun.

5. Repeat Sessions

• Multiple treatments (usually 6–8 sessions) are required for optimal results, as hair grows in cycles.
• Sessions are spaced 4–6 weeks apart to target new hair growth.
