Dr. LaMond is a nutrition, hormone and prevention expert. Drawing from his foundation and board certification in Family Medicine, he has created the core medical principles behind the blue sky concept of total patient care. He is an active member of the American Society of Bariatric Physicians, American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery and American Academy of Family Physicians. He has been a featured speaker for numerous medical conferences and has been a consultant and has made several appearances on health television broadcasts. His written work has been featured in medical journals and other print media, with a focus on insulin resistance, nutrition, non-invasive cosmetic procedures, and wellness. Dr. LaMond is a luminary, speaker and consultant for Eleme Medical, Osyris and Candela Corporations and is an expert in non-invasive and minimally invasive body contouring and cosmetic laser surgery.
Drawing from his training experience in residency, winning consecutive post-baccalaureate teaching awards for the best resident teacher for medical students at Albany Medical College, he developed a love for teaching others. This teaching experience translated into a hands-on, approachable and easy to understand weight control program for patients. After years of development and thousands of successful weight control patients, he discovered a link between weight control and hormone optimization. This led to the development of a comprehensive hormone optimization program, which works in harmony with weight control and aging skin. His objective is total patient care and feeling great, inside and out.
Dr. LaMond is Board Certified by the American Board of Family Practice. After graduating from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, PA in 2001, Dr. LaMond completed an Internship and Family Medicine Residency at Albany Medical College in Albany, NY. Dr. LaMond completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan and Duke University, graduating in 1997, with honors. Dr. LaMond is currently a clinical professor at Wake Forest University and a Fellow of the American Board of Family Physicians.
Physician Assistant
Joyce Warwick is a Certified Physician Assistant with 12 years of experience in family medicine, orthopedics, dermatology, and wound care. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Tennessee and her master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies at Missouri State University. In 2013, Joyce and her family moved from Florida to Asheville, North Carolina. After moving to Asheville she spent two years providing wound care for residents of long-term care facilities. Joyce is very passionate about her work in medicine and enjoys providing care to patients through a variety of specialties.Joyce also performs cosmetic injectables and is advanced in injector training by Allergan.
In her spare time Joyce enjoys spending time with her family, mountain biking, trail running, and woodworking. She and her husband live in West Asheville with their 4 year old daughter and 2 Australian Shepherds.

Candace “Danielle” Thomas is a Board Certified Physician Assistant with over 4 years of experience in Dermatology and Aesthetics. Originally from Johnson City, TN. She earned her undergraduate degree in Chemistry from King University and then her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies from Christian Brother’s University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. In 2017 she started at the Dermatology Clinic of North MS, just outside of Memphis, TN. While there she was trained in both general medical dermatology and cosmetics by a Board Certified Dermatologist. She is passionate about skin care and enjoys connecting with her patients and providing high quality care in both medical dermatology and cosmetics for all skin types and ages.
When not at work she enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, watching movies, and enjoying the natural beauty of the region. She had her husband live in West Asheville with their Basset Hound, Fred & Corgi, Riley.
Dr. Katherine Volatile loves Medical Aesthetics!
Before entering the field, she had a long career as an Ophthalmologist during which she began injecting Botox in 1987 to treat facial spasms. The science of neuromodulators was fascinating to her and she began to explore the application of Botox for slowing the development of facial wrinkles.
Since that time, Dr. Volatile has continuously expanded her knowledge of facial injectables, studying the subject with experts from the US, Canada and South America. Her goal is to stay abreast of developments in the changing world of Medical Aesthetics in order to provide her patients with the very best treatment outcomes.
Dr. Volatile attended Smith College where she obtained a degree in Psychology. Following graduation from Smith, she completed a year of research in Pediatric Neurology at Yale University. She received her Doctor of Medicine from Emory University where she did a year of clinical research with a division of the National Institutes of Health. After an Internship in Internal Medicine, she spent 3 years in Clinical residency in Ophthalmology at the Greater Baltimore Medical Center and worked at Johns Hopkins University.

As a former Aesthetic Director of a high volume medical spa in Greenville SC, Jessica specializes in facial treatments bringing a blend of medical and cosmetic expertise. Jessica is skilled in the use of neuromodulators such as Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin. She also specializes in a variety of Dermal fillers to promote a more youthful appearance. Jessica is passionate about helping people look and feel their best. She provides an individualized approach to treating patients through cutting edge nonsurgical methods.

I bring over 13 years of nursing experience with 7 of those years specializing in Aesthetics and Plastic Surgery. I originally started my nursing career in Charlotte, NC on a Cardio Vascular unit and also enjoyed caring for patients on a Post Anesthesia Care Unit. I eventually landed in the field of Aesthetics and I absolutely love it. I am a true Asheville native and recently moved back to the Asheville area after being in Charlotte for a little over 12 years.
I have more than the average exposure, training, and knowledge base when it comes to facial and body Aesthetics. I am supremely qualified to individualize a treatment plan for patients of all ages. I love learning and being a part of a team. I hope to bring both a professional and fun environment. I love working out (F45), fashion, and good food. When I’m not at work I’m usually with my husband and 8 year old twins.
As the daughter of two nurses, Autumn envisioned her career in medicine from a very young age. Her healthcare journey began over 10 years ago, upon graduating with her RN degree and entering the field as an inpatient behavioral health nurse. Over the years, Autumn has worked in a variety of clinical settings including thoracic surgery and geriatric medicine. Having always been drawn to the world of aesthetics, she ultimately fulfilled this passion and honed her techniques while working as the Lead Nurse at a bustling Atlanta medspa.
Autumn relocated to the Hendersonville area in order to be close to family and has since joined the Dermablue team. She brings with her a deep sense of compassion, professionalism, and a keen eye for detail. Autumn believes in the enduring connection between mind and body and strives to empower her clients on their journey to self love and confidence.
Autumn ultimately endeavors to provide a comfortable, safe, and positive experience for each of her clients and cannot wait to help you achieve your unique aesthetic goals. In her free time, Autumn enjoys spending time with her son, reading, creating collage art, and volunteering with the Blue Ridge Humane Society.
Lylla entered the aesthetics industry because of a desire to learn how to treat her own acne. 20 years later she loves the industry more than ever! She began her career working at the Grove Park Inn Spa and built a strong foundation in aesthetic care. As the years went by, Lylla was drawn to the medical side of things. She moved to South Florida to go back to school and for the next 7 years gained knowledge, expertise, and licenses. She also gained valuable experience working with some amazing dermatologists at South Florida Dermatology Consultants. She is now happy to be back home to the mountains of Asheville NC. Lylla truly loves caring for her patients and helping them on their skin care journey!
Stacy was raised in Maui. She received her BSN from Pensacola Christian College and furthered her studies in advanced skin care chemistry at UCLA. Stacy worked in Cardio-Thoracic ICU at UCLA for numerous years before being requested to work with some of the finest plastic surgeons in Beverly Hills. Stacy has gained invaluable experience in the field of skin care and cosmetic injectables.
With over 15 years of expertise in the aesthetic industry, she brings knowledge, proficiency, and a dedicated artistic eye for accomplishing cosmetic enhancements with Botox and dermal fillers.
