Juvederm Volux XC is a specialized hyaluronic acid filler designed specifically for jawline contouring and chin enhancement. Like all hyaluronic acid fillers, Volux XC can be dissolved with hyaluronidase if needed, though because of its firm consistency and deep placement, reversal may take more time and multiple sessions compared to softer fillers.

Treatment typically takes 30 to 45 minutes and involves strategic injections along the jawline and chin area using a cannula or needle technique. Because Volux contains lidocaine and is often injected with additional numbing, most patients find the treatment quite comfortable. You can expect some swelling and possibly bruising for 3 to 7 days, with swelling being more noticeable than with softer fillers due to the treatment areas and product volume used.
